Talulah is 12 weeks old and lives with Tyra and now Sissy & Ada in the eglu.

Talulah is a cream legbar, Tyra a shetland and Sissy & Ada are 14 week old Brahmas. There has not been any nasty behaviour from Sissy & Ada but i do think they intimidate Talulah.

Now Talulah has taken to staying in the eglu and not wandering far at all. I think she is also scared of eating or drinking near Sissy & Ada.

I have brought her indoors and she has eaten and drank fine and is now laid down on the sofa next to me.

She seems fine in every way except she always fluffs up her feathers and is hunched up a lot of the time. I have checked for lice etc and nothing.

Im stumped, any ideas please?

Being hunched up sounds concerning Sandie, especially as she is home hatched.

 

I would give her some poultry nutri drops, and keep an eye on her poos.

I gave her some nutridrops yesterday and they didnt seem to make much of a difference. Her poos are a mixture of normal and loose/squirty, sorry to be so graphic

Thanks Egluntyne, her chest doesnt sound rattly but i am going to start worming them tomorro.

I have put her back in with the others for now but will keep a very close eye on her.
