I have just got an Eglu (green eglu) , and am looking for a suitable cover for it. The glass tarp I've got on the cube is great, but a tarp for the eglu seems to only come in 2m x 2.4m too big? Do you know anywhere that sells a clear shower curtain or the right glass sized tarp? I will (hopefully) have chicks in the eglu and guinea pigs after that so could do with a good cover.

Ikea shower curtains cover most of the run and at less than £1 each this makes them a bargain!

I used the glass tarp and put a crease down the middle to make it look neat

Something that works and fits perfectly though is a sheet or two of corrugated plastic from a DIY store

Oh you must consider clear corrugated plastic sheet (£6 a sheet from Wickes or B&Q). I absolutely have ANH to thank for first posting the idea and pics many moons ago.

Here's my eglu, I have 3 sheets, but you could get away with 2, held in place with cheap bungee cords from Poundland.

I have to agree with Hen Watch, clear corrugated plastic sheets held in place with bungee cord is a very good solution. Easy to take off when it gets hot, quick to add if it rains. I just have the two sheets, I overlap them more in good weather, spread them apart when rain is forecast.

This picture was taken a while ago, but it will give you an idea of how it all works.

These days I have a WIR, but the rabbit now lives in the Eglu run and I still use the corrugated plastic sheet to protect her from the worst of the elements.
