Redwing
Warm soapy water on a clean cloth, then disinfectant very diluted, then plain water on a separate clean cloth then smear a drop of milton around the inside then another wipe with clean water, if you dont have any milton dont use anything else instead. Dry with clean kitchen roll as best as you can. Put the lid back on and run the inccy for a while to dry it all out and leave the lid on and vents closed until the inccy is used next If you ahve fresh eggs to put in do not do this until the inccy has been running long enough to dry out the inside and the humidity stabalises at a lower level
Egluntyne
thanks. Would dilute detol do the trick? ....smear a drop of milton around the inside then another wipe with clean water, if you dont have any milton dont use anything else instead. ..... Dettol and the like (anything that turns the water white) are very toxic as they contain phenols, so are best avoided, and wouldn't be suitable in this case. Milton and the sterilising fluid are not expensive.
