Hi. I wonder if any of you can help. I'm looking for a campsite thats either on a farm or at least has some animals on it to take my grandson to for a holiday in the summer. Doesn't matter whereabouts it is. would just like some recommendations please!

Have you tried doing a search on UKCampsite.co.uk? That way you can narrow it to a specific area, and there are lots of good reviews on there.

 

Sacrewell is a farm park with lots to see and do and they have a campsite. It's near peterborough

We're members of the Camping & Caravanning Club, you can search on their website for sites, not all of them are members only. I know they do have quite a few farms.

Yes can definitely recommend CampsiteUK site as you get peoples' comments on the site including 'farmer let us hold baby lambs and hunt for eggs type of stuff'. We stayed at one on a farm with cattle in the lakes near Ulverston which we got from that site that took caravans and tents and also one at Buxton with CHICKENS! all different pure breeds that wandered round the tents and were great hentertainment. got that off CampsiteUK as well I think.

This one is in Mid Devon so handy for north and south coast beaches and touring Exmoor etc.

You can help feed the cows, help with the calves, feed the chickens, collect eggs. It's listed on the UK campsite forum. If you look at their reviews they have some great feedback.
