chickencam Posted May 12, 2010 Share Posted May 12, 2010 We have one of these shoe banks in our local supermarket car park. What happens to the shoes that they can't refurbish? I never know which shoes are best to put in there,the children's outgrown shoes are obvious because they usually have life left in them but what about trainers etc? Seagazer Posted May 12, 2010 Share Posted May 12, 2010 I always recycle our shoes at the dump or some shoe shops have recycling points in them. It is usually just YS's though as everyone else wears their shoes till they are falling to bits as our feet have stopped growing. It is such a good idea.
