Gelbel
Why, oh, why does it have to be today? I was woken up at 06:35 by my girls giving 'something is not at all right and we are not at all happy about it' mega boking. They have NEVER done this before - I've only ever had one pre 7am egg announcement and that was on a weekday at a reasonable 06:50. In fact, they rarely announce they are so . So out I toddled as something was obviously not right - baring in mind I have a managed to catch a nasty cold. It looks as if Ada wanted her feet washing and has tried to climb in the glug (she does this from time to time). But in doing so she managed to pull it off the side of the run and brought the grub down with it. This frightened them and was really upsetting them. Since then, I have been out three other times as you'd think the three minute warning had been given. They are now too frightened/stupid to go back into the WIR so are in the coop's integral run and making it known they are not happy about it. I've given in and chucked them some mealworms and they 'forgot' to be frightened/stupid and ran as fast as fast to gobble them all up. I think they will now be back to their normal, quiet selves. It's not so much it's early that's annoyed me, it's not so much it's Sunday that's concerning me - it's got to be bad as the DH is now shuffling about, but since yesterday we have new neighbours. What the heck are they thinking? Talk about chooks' law.
Plum
It's a one off so I wouldn't worry about the neighbours I love the notion of Ada with her feet in the spa.
