Cinnamon
The one you buy in a bag rather than the one you make yourself I sowed some sweet peppers a couple of weeks ago which are doing really well, but I used a cheapish compost & have found that heaps of little Lemon Balm seedling have also come up Has anyone else had an unexpected 'bonus' crop from their shop bought compost? Olly
Last year I sowed a packet of catnip seeds, and it was only when I came to pinch out my flourishing little seedlings that I realised the whole lot were lemon balm! Now, I was blaming Thompson & Morgan for a mislabelled packet ... but I'm wondering if it was the compost after all. One thing I don't need in my garden is any more lemon balm, you never get rid of it.
sjp
I've had weed seedling come up in a seed compost before now that why I only use a multi purpose one was it a peat free one by any chance?
