Ive just heard a lovely thing from my cousin, she adopted a stray cat last week, it was in a very poor state very thin & infested, she's a lovely friendly cat, cousin spent £60 at the vet to find that the cat was microchipped & yesterday her owners came round to collect her, She had been missing for over 12 weeks, goodness knows what she had been up to

What a lovely story. Hope more owners will micro chip their pets in future and your cousin gets a new cat. Sadly so many cats need kind homes, our paper is always asking people if they can offer homes to stray cats and dogs.

Nice to hear some good news, I bet they were thrilled to have their puss back after 12 weeks. Microchipping is good for that sort of thing, I hope your cousin wasn't too disappointed to give the cat up. Perhaps she'll rehome another cat now?

thank goodness she has found the home (if that was my kitty - i would give the £60 back to the wonderful people for finding my girl )
