Lucia Posted May 30, 2010 Share Posted May 30, 2010 Well having found my gorgeous cockeral a lovely new home (on my friends farm with a harem of ex-batts, he had to go as we are semi rural ) I am down to three hybrids and a bantam hybrid (who isn't much smaller than the other girls....we have a nice big walk in run and a cube and am getting some electric netting so they can get out and about (haven't been able to let them loose before as garden wasn't secure and Mr Fox has been seen out and about. Although they get to go in a seperate run on the lawn too - its actually a 9ftx9ft lidded rabbit run! But the rabbits don't mind sharing!). So anyway as we can let them out and chicken maths says that minus one large beautiful cockeral is equal to two more chickens ......I am of to see some araucanas and leghorns this week!
