Pipichick
I bought two gingernut rangers with my eglu and then collected a 'merrydale' sussex 5 days later to bring the no of hens to 3, as I'd read that was a better hen total Anyway Ginger & Doodle, my original 2, seem as thick as thieves while Blanche spends most of the day wandering alone, with the v ocassional peck from Ginger (top hen). Is this normal??? I'd imagined this happy group of 3 strolling around the garden
Egluntyne
Sounds fairly amicable to me. Early days yet.....give them a bit more time.
Pipichick
Have just looked out the window to see what the 3 were doing and would you believe all 3 are sitting under one of the shrubs shading themselves from the lovely sun Thanks for your advice, puts my mind at rest and I am desperately trying not to think of them as 'little people'
