honorandkit Posted June 5, 2010 Share Posted June 5, 2010 So, after a bit of a to-do, we persuaded the girls to go into the henhouse to bed. The question is, should we have left water in there for the baby one (8 weeks old), or will she be fine until the morning? The breeder mentioned something about food and water if we seperated her from the others and put her in the cat carrier to sleep, but I don't know if birds need water/food over night. Help! As long as you remember to let them out early tomorrow - we normally aim for 6:45 and ours are already pacing up and down! I knew it was a stupid question, but with her being so tiny and everyone stressing the importance of hens having enough to drink, I flapped.
