Sooo much pooping

Got my new Eglu Classic, 3 new hens arrived today, just tucked them up for the night and checked the side door, but it seems to me that when closing this you can go past the locking notch and it comes open again, also the door seems very loose, just a bit worried about Mr Fox, doesn't seem as secure as I though it would be. Anyone else think the same? Have I got a duff Eglu or will all be ok?

I have had 4 Eglus - all have had loose side doors however none have ever come undone

 

The 'going past the lock' bit doesnt sound right though, mine have all clicked in to place and stayed there

Mine isn't particularly loose - would move a bit if you wiggled it.

 

The lock doesn't sound good though - I'd phone/email Quin tomorrow and see what he says
