quickcluck
Thinking about getting one of these to put in a caravan......... does anyone use them either at home or for caravanning? Any advice? Thanks K
Charlottechicken
There's bound to be an old thread about these, I'm sure they were an Omlet 'must have' at some point in the past
Olly
Take a look here - if you search Remoska you'll also find reference to it in some other threads. I think quite a few Omleteers have them, I've been tempted but not got one yet.

The Dogmother
I love mine, and they are so miserly on the electric too.

The Dogmother
If you're thinking of getting one CM, then you're welcome to borrow mine to try out. It does delicious potato wedges and roast potatoes among a host of other stuff. Quick to cook and uses as much electric as a light bulb, or so I'm told. I think that the Lakeland website has (or used to have) a demo video.
Chucky Mama
Thanks Clare, just had a lookie on Lakeland. I cook a lot of curries, would it contain the smellmore than an oven as I hate the house smelling of curry.
The Dogmother
I know what you mean, have you tried a slow cooker? I haven't used the Remoska for anything 'liquid' yet, so I'm not sure how it would work/manage. I will try to remember to look through the Remoska cookbook when I get home tonight. I use my slow cooker for all sorts; pasta sauces, stews, chilli, curries, soup.....
Chucky Mama
Ah Ok, so it is more for 'dry' cooking then.

quickcluck
Welllllllllllllllllllllll on a second look, it's appears that the baby one is out of stock, but the standard one is ok.. Now what's a girl to do?

The Dogmother
The baby one is far too small to do anything in. I bit the bullet and got the big one, not regretted it. It does wonderful baked potatoes
quickcluck
I was gonna go for a standard one, as there are only 2 of us.... big enough?
The Dogmother
Have a look in your local Lakeland if you have one - they are smaller than they seem on the webpage. You will want to fit several things in at once when you get the hang of it and I am glad that I got the bigger one.
