Goldstar
Hi all. Probably a daft question, but I was wondering when giving my girls vegetables can they all be given raw or do some have to be cooked. I gave them some raw broccoli earlier which they loved, but after I put it in thought "Should I have cooked it?" I was thinking of giving them sweetcorn but dont know whether to cook it. If people could give me an idea of vegetables that they have given and how they have prepared it I would be very grateful. Thank you. jennydavies
The only veg I give cooked is Potato, whether it's peelings or whole. All the other veg/fruit I give raw and the list is endless, mine seem to love everything tomato, cucumber, lettuce, broccoli, cauli, green beans, apple, banana, sweetcorn (tinned), peas, pear, carrot, cabbage etc....I chop some of them up small for easier digestion and to avoid crop problems. Sandychick
Most stuff they eat raw - any tougher kitchen s"Ooops, word censored!"s (outer cabbage leaf, potato peelings etc), I boil for a few mins first.
