Wanted - Eglu Cube Mk1 Roosting Bars

I have an Eglu and am awaiting 4 ex-batts. I feel I should have an extra grub and glug. Wondered whether it is worth investing in a super glug?

Personally I would not have one.

 

I had one come with my cube and the girls really didn't take to it. My neighbour also has a cube and his chicks also cannot get the hang of the super glug.

 

I have just swapped my superglug for a normal glug. Sometimes keeping things simple is all that is required.

 

That said I have read that a lot of people love the superglug and haven't had a problem.

 

I guess it depends on the chickens.

I have to say my ex bats knew exactly what to do with the superglug - they probably had something similar whilst 'inside'. I also have an ordinary glug which they have no problem with either.
