Trudie
I have just gone out to put my hens away and found Trudie hunched up and shaking and gagging. I lifted her up and alot of fluid came out of her mouth. I also noticed she is quite thin. I have seperated her is there anything else I can do, does anybody have any ideas what it is. I must add she has not been herself for months we just thought she was getting on a bit. We have not had any eggs for months she appears happy so we have never worried. Egluntyne
Could be any one of an numner of things. Does her breath smell yeasty? Is her crop tending to be like a ballon full of water? If so she may have **sour crop** I'd have her to the vet on Monday, as she sounds as if she has been ill for a while and home remedies might not help her.
