craftyhunnypie
This was on a shopping channel last week & I was mesmerised. Works like a remoska I think. But easier to clean & has a fat drip tray & also a casserole type pan liner thingy. Anyone got one? It's not the lean mean grill it's an oven / roaster. They have themon Amazon too & on the George Foreman website - there is the PDF booklet with recipes. I can't wait to try it. Emma.x
Charlottechicken
Have you tried it yet Emma? It looks very similar to the Remoska but quite a bit cheaper.
craftyhunnypie
Yes - we did Salmon fillets & jacket spuds in it. The salmon was mmm mmm mmmm. The spuds were a bit hard - wish I'd zapped them in a microwave first. But we are caravanning, so couldn't. We are very very impressed though. It can be used as a grill or oven. For liquidy things like stews & bakes you just insert the pan (included). I think you would like it. I find it a lot safer to use than the remoska, as the lid is hinged , you don't have to put it down upside down on a surface. Also the heat comes from all round, not just the lid. It's great! quickcluck
I will look at it too, as I've been looking at halogen ovens for our caravan! How long did your jackets take?
sunshinesupernova
Have you tried putting a metal skewer through the middle of your potatoes ? They cook much faster as the hot metal also helps them cook from the middle
