dixie chick
As recommended on this forum - I bought one of those make it yourself fly-traps that utilises an empty plastic milk container. You fill it with the foul smelling fly attractant liquid, and it catches thousands of flies - its brilliant. However...its not quite so great when it is being paraded around the garden in the jaws of an exuberant labrador - foul liquid and dead flies slopping out all over the place! What a great game he thought we were having as I chased him around the garden trying to avoid being sprayed.....YUK! Note to self; hang next fly trap at least 6 feet high!
