Best liner/ bedding for drop tray

Had my Ex-Bats for roughly a month, how would I go about merging them with my exsisting flock? They have been able to see each through the wire since they came here, and are now FR all together but a few fights keep breaking out. Do I just let them FR regardless of the scuffles? And when can I house them altogther?

Are your ex-bats well feathered? my intergration isn't ex-bats but bald spots seem to create a bit of a target

I don't think there are any straight forward answers to this, each group/individual are so different.

Personally, I don't push the sleeping together point...I've let my lot take each step as they are ready, but then I'm lucky enough to have enough housing & space for them to do that indefinitely

 

If they are happy to FR together, eventually they may start to take the "sleepover" route one at a time, or maybe never, each integration between flocks is very different.......if they are sharing nestboxes, then sleepovers do tend to follow in my experience, then night time integration is a natural & hopefully stressfree progression

I also up the sharing of treats. That seems to be a fairly useful team building exercise.
