Mollie333
Oh it was comical. Its a hot day so i decided to get the hose pipe out and spray the turkeys and chickens down. The turkeys loved it, and was just stood there getting nice and wet, then the chickens decided to have a go and ran up to me and i accidently got Blanche with the main pipe, because the sprinkler fell out.. I felt so bad. there was alot of grunting going on afterwards, but then she forgave me as i gave her some worms.

I find dunkin works best to cool chickens - they go mad when I water the garden and do not like the hose, but half fill a trug with water and sit them in it for a bath on a hot day and my girls love it. Troy
Tru! We gave our 3 Pekins a 'foot feathers and bum bath' the other day and they went all limp and silly in the bowl. Then they crooned and purred for an hour in the kitchen while they snoozed on the cool floor! Troy
