Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

My plants are doing well but the squashes are only getting to the size of a golf ball and then withering and falling off. My daughter and I have about six different varieties and they're all doing the same. I water them well everyday and we have given them plant food. I wondered whether to cut back lots of leaves but don't know if that's the right thing to do. Thanks.

sounds like poor pollination which could be done to a lack of bees or male flowers. or it could be down to the weather

that coupled with the fact squashes/pumkins can be tempermental I find that mine don't start to set fruit much before late july early august. I only grow winter squashes/pumpkins

pumpkins usually have several false starts before producing fruits, they will get there eventually. It can help to stop the ends of the plants by nipping out the growing tips if they are producing stems everywhere and lots of growth but no fruit.
