Jossy
Hi guys. Just a quick question. We have had the hens for just over 5 weeks, Martha one of the black rocks was broody for a while, now snapped out of it and laying again, while she was broody she plucked a few feathers from her chest and bum, she has stopped now but her bum and tail feathers are getting less, she looks a bit ragged, I've noticed the other black rock is looking a bit baldy too, but not as bad, the others are fine, apart from the specaldy who hasn't laid an egg in about a week! They are all very healthy, no crawleys eating and drinking foraging while free ranging. Are they too young to moult? I bought them as pol thought they wouldn't till they were about a year old. But wondering if they are moulting and the one has stopped laying because if the warm weather. Thanks in advance. Jos xx
