Cranfield Kate
Bertha likes nothing more than to break into the kicthen and eat collin's whiskas. apart from this being mean to poor collin, is it bad for her too???? i guesss it's not much different to worms but still... alet_chicken
It won't harm her in moderation, think of it as just a bit of extra protein. My chickens love cat food too! The only issue for me (I don't imagine it worries my chickens ) is that it may contain chicken meat.
Jennifer Jane
My hens steal the rabbits' food if they get a chance. As does my cat Max. They haven't tried cat food yet though. (Well Max has, obviously).

alet_chicken
The little carnivores My ex-batts would trade their best friends in for a bit of cat food. They are not too sure about corn though
Mercedes55
I've often read it's good to let them eat cat food to get extra protein, but to not give them the chicken variety

figarogir1
Mine adore dog food but I have to be careful as they come in and start eating it while my dog is trying to I'm sure they can smell it because they run at top speed down the garden and into the kitchen as soon as I dish it up. I have to shut the kitchen door in case the dog decides enough is enough and tries to take her food back!
