joza2210
Hello , Sorry i have not been on for a while ... I will make it up to you as going to my dads on wednesday and i will have loads of pictures Also got some chicks hopefully hatching tonight ... Im excited ! (But i will let you know what happens on the chick forum) So i have a question ... I have hatched 4 Japanese chicks with the same cockerel this year (So far) And they have all been hens - Now this is not a problem but can this happen ? Just hens hatching ? Also i have only had 3 pekin frizzle with smooth pekin hatch this year and have all been smooth ... Hummm Josh
tom123
All girls is just luck. The frizzling is also random. It is usually a 50/50 thing but as you haven't hatched enough then you wont see this.
Lewis
Yep, you can't have genes for just girls - if there was they'd be using it commercially to only hatch girls! As Tom said, Frizzle will depend on the make-up of the parents
