joza2210 Posted July 29, 2010 Share Posted July 29, 2010 Hello , So I am at my dads and I have give my 5 week old chicks a full clean out and I seen in 2 dropping a red thing I don't think it was blood because I also don't think it is Coccidiosis because the feed is treated and we treat the water ... Any idea what it could be ? Also that japanese egg - we got it out and it was very hard it get the shell off and there was a dead chick inside with some yolk in it ... Too high humididty ? Lewis Posted July 29, 2010 Share Posted July 29, 2010 Not sure what the red in the poo was then - hopefully the medicated crumb will be doing its job, maybe get a bottle of coxoid incase any go down hill. Just keep an eye on them. It could have been too high humidity but it sounds like it was pipping too early if it hadn't fully absorbed the yolk.
