Arrrgh the frustration, I so want to order a Cube, run and some chickens..NOW!

 

Was going to site them on patio area, get used to a routine, them and them to me.... and then all would be moved further up garden to a WIR which hubby is planning to construct! The WIR IS going to take a bit of time due to some work thats need to be on access to top garden (ie a staircase) and the WIR site preparation. Knowing my hubby this could take MONTHS

 

Hes adamant NO chickens till the WIR is ready...... and I want them NOW!!!!

it could take a while for your chickens to be ready for delivery, it depends on what stock there is, worth making enquiries, then who knows an order placed soon may not be delivered for a while giving hubby a deadline to work to. then if they are delivered early well thats not your fault is it

Having read you post about the weight of the cube it is probably better to put cube together where it will be with the WIR, I wouldn't want to lift one up 6ft of steps

I'd wait and save yourself the cost of the cube run. You could have a few more hens for the same money.
