Peaches
Should I flub my ex-batts - well, they are actually ex-barn - straightaway? We collected them yesterday evening and I've just let them out this morning. They look pale and pasty - but might they be full of flub and antibiotics as they are commercial layers? Thanks for any help - it's over a year since I've had chickens and I just can't remember ... And I should say hello again. I spent quite a bit of time on this part of the forum last time round! Egluntyne
Hello again. I wouldn't bother until they have been free ranging for a few weeks myself, unless their droppings give you cause for concern. They are very unlikely to have picked up worms, but I'd give them a precautionary powdering against red mite.
