I've just baked some more egg shells to give to the chucks, beats putting them in the compost (... the shells I mean, not the chucks!) but was wondering how much to give them and how often, or do I just mix it in with the grit and leave them to decide?

Crush it up quite small and add it to the grit, they will pick it out if they need it
