coco Posted August 3, 2010 Share Posted August 3, 2010 (edited) My Silkie cross Coco hasn't laid for about six weeks now. She was broody for three months, laid four or five eggs and hasn't laid since. I put it down to the hot weather but even Pipa [other Silkie] has started laying again. She has been wormed, doesn't have mites and is very healthy and noisy. She is about 19 months old. She's never been a brilliant layer. Any ideas or is she just going to be one of lifes freeloaders. Shame as she lays a blue egg. Yay, we have a blue egg after nearly two months of nothing, I thought she'd gone into early retirement.
