Clur Posted August 7, 2010 Share Posted August 7, 2010 One of my hens was laid low and we discovered she had lice of some sort. The diamatous earth has done a good job but we wanted to treat all of them and make sure there was none left. I've bought Johnson's Anti-Mite Extra (not licensed for poultry) which has permethrin, and plan to spray every 2 days until there's no sign of the lice. I've also scrubbed their coop and run, so hopefully the problem should clear quickly. With permethrin, should we withdraw the eggs. And if so, does anyone know how long for? Thanks.
