Tutti Frutti
I think I've figured something out. See, I **AM** smarter than a chicken, despite rumours to the contrary I've posted before about the girls complaining when I don't let them out to free range... This afternoon, I let them OUT and shut them in the borders whilst I was in and out of their run, deep cleaning the cube (pt 2 of anti red mite treatment). And guess what? They were pacing up and down the borders, WHINING to be let back in! So I think they pace simply because they want to be with us* Nice theory, huh? *Or assume we have food
coco
Mine pace to be let out, then they pace to be let out of their FR area. My two new girls in seperated run pace to be let out with the others but as soon as I open the run door they go into the corner of the run and hide. youve heard the saying 'you can't please all the people all the time' I think the same must apply to chickens.
