karena
Hoping someone with an extension can help... I have just got an Eglu with run extension. But I can't figure out how they fit The instructions look so simple, but the extension panels just seem too big heightwise. Are they meant to overlap one another at the top or fit just nicely together? We can only work out how to do it by overlapping. But, we then realised that overlapping solves a few centimetre space issue lengthwise, so does anyone know whether it is OK to overlap panels anyway? Ain't Nobody Here
Try turning them both round the other way! They should fit neatly together (although I don't suppose there's any reason why you shouldn't overlap them if you can get it to work ). This might help you see how it's supposed to look . chickens 013 by Ain't "Ooops, word censored!"ody Here, on Flickr
Bramble
Hello! I put together a run extension yesterday - well, it was the run converter actually (extension kit A on the omlet website). I think it was supposed to take 15 minutes to put together, but it took me rather longer than that (especially with the assistance of my little feathered friends, who were VERY keen to help!) I think the important thing is to check that you've got the run converter (A) and you're not trying to put a 'B' Extension on to the end of a normal 2m run - have a look in the Omlet Shop - that should be a bit clearer than my garblings. The other thing is to make sure the panels are the right way round (the tapered end joins to the existing run). I found that (eventually!) the converter just fitted together like the rest of the run, no overlapping, but I'm sure it wouldn't matter if it does overlap if that helps your space issue! Good luck
karena
Thanks for the pointers and picture. We have now managed to put it together, and overlapped to fit nicely in the space And we realised we were using the clips all wrong too Now for some chickens
