Perfectspace
Thank you to those of you who gave advice on catching and handing our new 9 week old Light Sussex Bantams. I am TOTALLY CHUFFED today. I've spent quite a bit of time at the run door getting them used to me - involving a lot of bread, oats and mealworms - the only things they seem interested in! Everyday they have got more confident. So, today it seemed so easy picking them up, and letting the children get used to doing the same. By the end of today they were very relaxed, and so we took a deep breath and let them out into the garden! Even getting them back in was easy, we just herded them back in the general direction, and they were only too pleased to walk back in. 10 days of patience has paid off! We are admittedly a bit too proud of ourselves this evening.... I'm sure we still have plenty more questions to come, but thank you all in advance....
