Just a thought .................. do you think Ukadex is a good for keeping lice and red mites away? My girls have had so much of it on them over the last few months I can't imagine anything would want to bite into them

It's not a pesticide so doubt it. it certainly keeps people away! I think its main attribute is it tastes horrible to the pecking chicken so the victim is left alone. It stains them brown so beware of that.

Oh yes, as I said, I have been using it for a few months so they are well and truly brown!!! Seems to stop them eating each others' feathers until it wears off a bit
