lauren1199
When we went to buy our chickens, we went all the way to lillingstone. we went to the battery hen welfare. There were 4 that we could choose, but we had to get 2 chikens that get on well. One of them was called Sharpie and one was called Bridget. Bridget hardly had any feathers, so we decided to give her a new home (and a new name!) Sharpie had a little bit of a limp as she'd hurt herself in the past. We took Sharpie and Bridget home and put them into their eglu. They looked very nervous when they were walking about. We gave them their food and water and left them to settle down. on the first night, neither of our chickens laid eggs. on the second night, both of them laid eggs! Also they laid 2 more eggs in the afternoon on the same day! these are what the eggs looked like: Hopefully, Bridget and Sharpie will give us lots more eggs from now on
