Unsecure chicken perches

just wondering if there could be a sticky with ideas about what people give their chooks to keep them amused - am getting ahead of myself with my WIR, and already planning perches, straw bales etc, but some tips would be great! for example, I've got some spare plastic and wooden roosting bars which could make perches, and seen picx where people have done this, but not quite sure about the method...

thanks mollie, I had a PM this morning to say it was under consideration. it would be great if all the ideas (and pix) where together though wouldnt it?

Yep. I think its a very good idea, i want to make a better perch for the girls, but the turkeys would break it .
