As it's such a rubbish day today and I had my wisdom teeth out yeaterday I thought I'd use some of the stack of eggs. I love baking it's so relaxing (unlike cooking family meals!). I make a dozen buns with white icing and sprinkles and a dozen cheese scones. The children have eaten the lot!! lol

 

Also really enjoyed the baking show on BBC2 last night; can't remember what it's called. Beautiful looking macaroons.

Has anyone else been inspired by the dreadful weather to make yummy comfort food?

I spent yesterday baking lemon, blueberry and coconut sponge; ginger cake and gooey choc brownies. I took them into work today for my belated birthday cakes. they all went down pretty well!
