It was very very yummy and special, we all shared it!

mm, yum! I still remember my first two eggs (a big decision, but I had them poached on toast!)

 

Three years on, the pleasure has still not worn off - every time I find a lovely smooth warm egg in the nestbox I get a little thrill.

I know what you mean Olly, I got ever so egg-cited yesterday when our lovely ladies gave us another two eggies!!

We fried our first and divided it between the two of us (and the dog got a little bit too )

I still love collecting them as well

Well pleased to report that we've had two eggs each day, apart from Saturday when we got one big one

 

I think this may have been down to some very low flying old military aircrafts which may have put our ladies off? They were ever so noisy, hope it didn't scare them too much but it seems our lovely chicks are a lot tougher than we think!

 

They still gave us two eggs yeseterday which we're absolutely thrilled about!
