snowcloud Posted January 23, 2011 Share Posted January 23, 2011 I did a few geese over Christmas and they were much harder to pluck that chickens or pheasants - its because of their down feathers they have, as well as the normal feathers. It takes about 10 minutes to do a pheasant and took me about an hour to do a goose ! We've got lots of goose fat left over for a good few months to come though now!
