Dizzy-Deb
Is there one or two that you would recommend as being a good reference for keeping chickens ? i have looked at a few (some seem outdated, others a bit simplified) so was wondering what is good. I the Haynes Chicken manual and find that informative.

nattie
I found The Urban Hen good for a start although it was a little heavy on the chicken diseases side. It was very easy to read. Most of my information was gleaned from this forum though (as already mentioned)
