Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Only had my two girls a week, but its been me thats checked on eggs, food, cleaning out etc.... but today we were in the garden working on it and moved the eglu... hubby decided to check the nesting box... and durr dumm there was a lovely brown egg ready and waiting. He had a big stupid grin on his face when he took it out.

 

There is nothing like collecting that first egg.
