How do you tie it up? Ive read that many people tie up their head feathers so they can see, just wondered how and what with

They have very sensitive heads, mine don't even like me touching their crests let alone tie them up. I just accept that their vision is limited. They can see very well downwards so mine like to have plenty of places where they can perch and get a better view of things which probably explains why Olives favourite place is on my shoulder
