B rocker
Agatha has been broody for about 8 weeks. Next time we'll nip it in the bud but can't start all that now can we? The others just get in with her when they want to lay and we confine her where there's no box for a few hours a day to make sure she eats and drinks. How long will she go on? Any ideas what to do? Egluntyne
Check the answer in the FAQ section. **Click** I'd put her in a broody cage toot sweet.
chicken bark
Follow Egluntyne's advice. Hen's can really lose condition if they are left to be broody for too long. She'll keep going until the eggs hatch and as that isn't happening it really needs to be stopped.
