AmberSky
Does anyone know where you can get this online? ive just completed a course of flubenvet 1% and it only lasts me about 1 1/2 doses i.e the 60g pack makes enough feed to worm my chickens for 1 week and then later on a further 1/2 a week. So i would like to buy the stronger concentration to last me longer and be more economical, i worm every 3 months and its getting costly buying the weaker version. Christian
I think they stopped selling the stronger stuff for a while, but it might be available on line again. If not, your vet can get it for you.

AmberSky
Thanks i will be getting some of that next time, but with the 1% its just a 6g scoop to 2kg pellets, how do you weigh out the 2.5% mix and to what ratio pellets? AmberSky
After further searching i see it is 6g to 5kg of food. which of course means you use same amount of flubenvet but over twice amount of food. so for my 14 girls i only need to make 2 lots of 5kg mix to last them the week which is excellent, as they eat about 10kg a week. and all i have to do is save the 6g scoop from the 1% tub to measure the 2.5% mix into the 5kg food, job done woop woop lol. Old Speckled Hen
Well 2.5% is two and a half times stronger than 1% so the same amount will treat two and a half times the pellets. One scoop will do 5Kg pellets Oooooops cross posted Edited September 15, 2010 by Guest
