art12345
Hi ive been having some plucking problems and have tried antipeck spray with no success. Ive now covered my beardless silkie with stockhlm tar(blimey that stuff is disgusting) and im considering changing their diet. So Can i change to it overnight or do i need to do it gradually? Has anyone had much success in this stopping feather pecking? Thanks
Christian
I would say you can change from pellets to mash overnight. The other way around takes longer. In theory, it takes them longer to fill up on mash, so pecking should be reduced. Good luck!
karena
I did it overnight and it worked for a while. But the pecking has now started again (maybe 3 weeks later?) but I don't think it's as bad.
