knackered
I've seen this ad on preloved http://www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-adverts.showadvert/index-1033000713/369b758f.html and i'm interested in going to see them but is there any way of telling if they are boys/girls at this age. I don't think i could get away with a boy (although I would try). Thinking about picking up 2 polands and 2 lavender pekins..... Please do not refer back to my original posts where i said i was only getting 4 chickens - 8 is a much better number thanks
Griffin
Absolutely impossible to tell at that age They're one of the most difficult breeds to sex.
Redwing
No its much too early to sex them sadly In my humble opinion they look different ages too and at leat one seems younger than is stated - I wouldnt say the one on the left was 4 weeks old Polands are tricky to sex, seek yourself out a good breeder (the Poland breed club can help with this - they will have a list) Buy them from a reputable source sexed and quality birds and they will give you lots of joy. Dont get stuck with a boy by not knowing what you are buying
