thehandthatfeeds
We have 2 Indian Runners, approx 6 months old now, 2 girls. Very cheeky but they HATE any change in the garden... If we add or remove a plant pot, they won't come out their house for 2 to 3 days, you have to force them out...then it is a right old panic and they can't wait to get in their house again. Also I was cleaning some horserugs in the garden and the ducks were nearly suicidal, they went to hide underneath a load of junk in the shed so had to dismantle all that very carefully so they could get out without getting harmed. I normally dry my washing indoors due to my daughter's hayfever but I decided to hang some washing on the line outside and again, they were shaking and wouldn't come out...then when the washing was gone, it would take another 2 days before they got their confidence back. is this normal behaviour? I need to do stuff in my garden but even moving the patio table a foot, freaks them out...
miller30
This sounds normal to me their creatures of habit and just hate change can you not give them their own section in the garden where nothing will be changed or is your garden not big enough to do this leanne. thehandthatfeeds
They basically have the run of the whole garden, along with the 2 rabbits, which they cuddle up with. I could section something off but their house is at the other end to the pond, so need to have a rethink. They are fine when you are out with them, little funny things they are! zoejames
This is totally normal! What colour are the plant pots?
