Eglu cube or go up with 2m run

Hello!

 

I got 3 ex bats in July and 2 of them are fully feathered now (and very beautiful ). The third, Aurora, is still pretty bald, in fact she's not grown a single new feather.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this could be? She actually had most feathers to start with.

 

I'm worried she'll bfreezing now the weathers getting colder. Do you think I should get her a coat?

The BHWT don't advocate the use of jumpers for ex-batts, unless the hen is immobile, as they get dirty and can cause accidents if they snag on a nail etc.

I bought one of these when Betty was very poorly over December time ( we had that cold spell), I wouldn't use

it on a free range hen but it was find to use on her in the run and get her back on her feet again.

Thanks for your replies I hadn't thought about the potential for injury.

 

I just hope the colder weather stimulates some feather growth or she's going to be very chilly
