Rooster Booster Posted September 30, 2010 Share Posted September 30, 2010 I am trying to intergrate my two ex batts and older silkies with five silkie chicks aged about four months - it's a slow process anyone any words of wisdom ?? i want them intergrated before winter as they can all snuggle up together in the hen hous - i have kept them parted whilst it was warm but as cold weather is a comin .. i need them to settle down a bit ! Basically you need to take it slowly, free range them together at first and when that seems to be acceptable to them you can move them (physically if need be) at bedtime into the one house.
