mistysark
My chucks are very messy girls when it comes too food. They are feed pellets out of a round feeder. But as they peck at it it flys all over the place . i am worries that the waste will go mouldy but i cant afford to keep replacing the wood pellets. Advice please. What kind of feeder do people use. Jools
I use the old style omlet peanut for my bantams and I put a slab underneath it so any spills can be easily cleaned up. I use these for my LF as I find they struggle to get their heads inside the peanut comfortably to eat. Again, I have slabs underneath them and have been known to remove the feeder in the afternoon to make them clear up their own mess lol!! Chucky Mama
Ah, you beat me to it Jools, I was just looking for a photo of one of those green and white jobs I use one of those too and there is pretty much no spillage now from my previously messy lot. Guest
I have huge houses. I know some people wont agree but since I have 6 in one house and 8 in the other I put the food inside then clean it out from the door at night. Just so it doesn't get wet
